So I should be getting some love this weekend in the form of a Yarnbox. Until I do I thought I would share with you a little honey-do list I made for myself for this holiday weekend:
- Garden. That's right! Its finally safe for me to plant those flowers and make my yard shine!
- DIY Chalk. I'm going over my to my friends house next weekend and I never go empty handed. They have 4 kids and I'm sure they'll love this chalk I'm going to make in different shapes for them!
- Cuticle Oil. Batch #2. The first batch I made with a wonderful lemon essential oil that not only smells great but strengthens nails. Unfortunately with summer on its way any citrus essential oils can be photo-sensitizing. So it's time to whip up a batch that can be used by the poolside. (By the way, this too makes an excellent gift. Especially for overworked exhausted mother's of 4)
- Lotion Bar. Hubby has been asking me to make these for him since I first got into making my own lotions and bath products. I wrote them off as too simple. Now I'm taking a second look and seeing if I can add my own twist.
- Plan my next knitting project. I want to dig out some yarn and start organizing my stash, while I do that I hope a project taps me on the shoulder.
- Clean. Yeah no fun. Needs to be done. 'Nuff said.
- Family. Time to spend some quality time with the Mother-in-Law. I think we are going to play with the nail stencils I acquired (shhh.... she doesn't know about them)
- Friends. Long overdue quality time with some gal pals that need hugs.
What kind of plans do you all have for the Holiday?
~Jeanette
